4 days... like Groundhog Day

It's amazing... I figured with lots of extra time, I'd have an opportunity to blog a lot more. I figured every day that I was sentenced to use a sick day, even when I'm not sick, I'd type out a post. However, this has not been the case. I have found that with too much extra time, comes lack of words, lack of writing material, and lack of motivation to attempt writing.

Interesting, isn't it? One would think that with more time, more writing could prevail, instead I'm finding the opposite. Today is my fourth full day home with my sick hubby. I'm not sick, he is. So far I've spent the "free" time cleaning house, serving my sick hubby, keeping my sick hubby medicated regularly, catching up with TV shows, piddling on the computer, and trying not to go stir crazy with the groundhog day nature of the last four days.

Same thing over and over.

In other news... This past weekend I had the honor of being a part of Allie Grace Levatino's baby dedication at church. The Levatino family invited the hubby and I to be a part of the festivities, and I did my best to capture the moment in photos along the way.

It was awesome to be able to be there to support the Levatino's as they handed their beautiful new addition to Pastor Frey. He showed off Allie to the Central Church congregation and prayed together that the Lord would assist the family members and church family in bringing up baby Allie to know Christ and the power of the resurrection.

It was a great day (minus my hubby not being able to get away from soccer to be there with us and later him getting sick)... I am thankful for this family in our lives. Aren't they a cute family of four? For some reason Lexi wouldn't smile for this photo, but she's still adorable.

I'm looking forward to a weekend full of fun and no sickness... let's hope this wish comes true.

Here is a blog topic for you: "Why my 30+ year old husband needs someone to stay home with him while he is sick".

Unfortunately there would only be a single line worth of typing on the post after the topic. It would read "because my work is making me". :(

I just think Ufrank is jealous since he can't get his wife to take care of him when he's sick. ;)

Now you know how it feels to be a stay at home mom - somehow, we never get anything done! And Sunday was a GREAT morning - we are super blessed to have two beautiful girls, an awesome church family, and YOU :)

I am jealous. Since I turned 18, I have taken care of myself when I am sick. All I can say is "good for you". Get what you can.
